Organize Your Spare Room!

Do you have a spare room in your house that has just become a dumping site for anything and everything? It’s a very easy habit to get into. When you have something to store but it doesn’t have an obvious place, you think... into the spare room it goes!!

Did you at one time imagine this room to double up for the unexpected guest, become an office, or a room to sew? Well, if anything I have mentioned rings true, then let me help you
declutter and organize that room.

Firstly, decide how you want to use the room, and, if you can, do a small sketch to see if it works. If you want guests to be able to stay in there, then invest in a sofa bed. This can be pulled out to sleep on but also used as a sofa. You will also then be able to fit a desk or work table into the room.

Once you have planned the room, then it’s time to clear it. Follow the three magic words: Donate, Dump, Sell. If you do follow this 3 magic word plan, then you will clear everything you do not need.

Once everything is cleared out, then give the room a really good clean ( don’t forget the windows). If the room needs it, give it a coat of paint to freshen it up or give it a new look. Now you are looking at a clean empty room. How wonderful is that!!!

You need all the crockery according to your own requirement. Adding expensive tea sets will only increase the look and of course the dusting task.
